The Feeling Of Love a vu le jour en 2005 à Metz sous la forme d’un one-man band. Aujourd’hui le projet est composé de G. Marietta à la guitare et au chant, de Seb Normal à la batterie et de S. au clavier. Guitare et grosse caisse affolées par le tempo et les hanches tournoyantes d’un fantasme de rock’n’roll trash et de jump blues. Orgue famélique et hypnotique écrasé voire “scotché”  sous des assauts post punk : Pussy Galore, Doo Rag mais aussi Suicide, Spaceman3 cognent derrière leur musique. Jouée comme le rock doit l’être : à l’os. Rock’n’roll au son malsain et fiévreux, voix hystérique et vicieuse pour des love songs maladives, odes hantées aux rêves humides d’adolescents et aux années 1990. Michael Jordan v/s Kurt Cobain.
Depuis ses débuts The Feeling Of Love a déjà sorti six 45 tours, un split 10 pouces sur différents labels américains et européens. Leur premier LP, “Petite tu es un hit” est sorti sur le label de Rouen, Yakisakana Records (« le In The red français »). Ils ont également réalisé plusieurs tournées en Europe (France, Belgique, Suisse, Allemagne, Italie, Slovénie, Croatie, Autriche) et une tournée aux Etats-Unis en juin 2008.
The Feeling Of Love prépare son prochain album, à paraître sur Born Bad Records.

The Feeling Of Love is born in 2005 with different faces, one man band, two-piece or three-piece) and bring back best of Nineties-garage-blues (Gories, JSBX, and Doo Rag at their finest), cold punk psyche (Suicide, Spaceman3…) and Kraut without the stench of revisionism, updating those styles with a Pussy Galore-like slop of noise and a healthy dose of acerbic wit. Guitars alternately slide and slash, keyboards get punched and stepped on amid the fray, frenchmen sneer and whoop at you, drums boom and then turn coffee-can hollow… They run blues-trash and kraut-punk through the gauntlet and come out the other side reborn as some snarling beast. Taking the blues and running them through shards of glass and then dumping acerbic wit all over it, the Feeling of Love take some genres that’ve been practiced for ages and flexes some French love muscle all over it.
